Patricia Kaas Fortune

La Fortune de Patricia Kaas en 2025

Patricia Kaas was born on December 5, 1966, in Forbach, a town in northeastern France near the German border. She was the youngest of seven children in a working-class family. Her father, Joseph, was a miner, and her mother, Irmgard, was of German origin. In her youth, the family spoke Lorraine Franconian, a German dialect, at home, and Patricia did not begin learning French until she started school.

She signed her first professional contract at the age of thirteen, performing regularly in a lounge in Saarbrücken, Germany. Despite her family’s financial difficulties, Kaas pursued her passion for music, even leaving school at sixteen to work in a modeling agency in Metz, in order to support her family while pursuing her musical career.

Kaas’ big turning point came when she was discovered by a producer at a beer festival, which eventually led to the release of her debut album and the start of her successful career in the music industry.
